【绘声绘色】《美女与野兽》:玫瑰色的魔幻童话

I have loved Beauty and the Beast since I was about 4 years old. Maybe came out the year I was born in 1990? And…I just fell in love with Belle. She was this feisty young woman who spoke her mind and had all this ambitions and was incredibly independent and wanted to see the world and was so smart.

我从大概4岁起就超爱美女与野兽，是我出生那一年1990年的版本吧，我就彻底是贝儿的迷妹了。她是一个活泼的年轻女性，敢于表达，有抱负并且很独立。她想要探索世界而且她非常聪明。

And I loved how she had this relationship with beast where they were just toe to toe. Um, that to me just seemed like such a dynamic and interesting kind of relationship that I've never seen before in a fairy tale. I was just enamored with the whole thing. I was just so in love. It was so funny and so romantic, but in a way that…I don't know, for me, it didn't feel…contrived in the same way that I think perhaps other fairy tales have in the sense that they, Beast and Belle, really dislike each other at the beginning, and they…they really don't get on, and then they form this friendship, and then they fall in love and that, that was something so beautiful about that to me. And I've just loved it ever since.

As a child you love Disney, but as an adult you still love Disney. Because it's sort of connecting you with that childlike feeling that everything is going to be OK and there's hope in the world and it just sort of… For me, it just gives me the sense of like, ah, everything's fine. Everything's fine. So if you get to be in, you know, playing Belle and to get what she's living in the world is, you know, it's just amazing.

孩提时代你爱迪士尼，成年时期你仍然爱迪士尼，因为迪士尼将你与孩童时代的那种感受联系起来，一切都会好起来嗒~世间还有希望。对我来说，迪士尼就是给我一种“啊，一切都很好”的感觉。所以能有机会扮演贝儿，体会她世界的那种感觉，真的非常奇妙。

I'm very excited…um…Yeah, it's a huge challenge turning a 2D cartoon into a sort of 3D human story, I guess. And it's also a great story, is a great character, you know, it's one of the greatest characters from, from fairy tales, really. And… I was very excited. My wife is very excited. My kids were very excited, so yeah.

The music freeze is sensational and you know, one of the great things about the animated film was the blend of romance and sort of classic fairy tale telling, as well as a bit of humor and fun and that's something that, you know, we've really tried to retain in. This is the sort of, you know, the romantic side but also a bit of the silliness.

音乐也是十分的动人。关于动画电影最出彩的一点就是浪漫手法和经典童话的结合，讲述童话的同时结合一些幽默搞笑的元素，那是我们想保留下来的一些东西。就是那种既有点浪漫又有点搞笑的部分。

You know, I hope that we will do justice to, you know, the love we people have for the animated film but, you know, that people felt that we were, you know, we've taken on, moved on a bit, brought something fresh to it, brought a few new songs to it, hoping like those. And…yeah, I hope that, you know, it's, you know, becomes another classic really that the families enjoy and the kids enjoy, getting to engage with the fairy tale again. Because it is a great…is one of the greatest fairy tales, I think.

我希望我们能不辜负大家对动画版美女与野兽的热爱，让他们感到我们取其精华的同时也进步了，加入了新的东西，写了新歌，希望大家能喜欢。当然了，我希望真人版电影能成为另一个经典，家庭成员和孩子们都喜欢的一部片，让他们再次沉浸在童话世界中。因为我认为这真的是个很棒的，是历史上最棒的童话之一。

Something that Bill (the director) and I were keen to bring out is this sense of, sort of petulant spoiled child and, and the sense of, kind been entitled this and that led to his downfall really and so that was quite fun, just to kind of working into this pretty short little montage almost entirely through the medium of dance, which is not something I've done a huge amount before. But that was really really interesting to kind of introduce that element. And then see that, you know, through…thread…through the beast's story. And you know, to see him cursed not just for, you know, having refused a rose, but actually for all his other traits that he could be dawned for.

比尔和我极力想要呈现的是，这个任性而养尊处优的孩子，天生就享有各种权利等等，导致他吃了亏（变成了野兽）。运用一个个细微的蒙太奇手法，几乎全部是以舞蹈形式呈现出来的，这是很有趣的一件事。我之前没有很多这样的机会。但是引入这种元素真的非常有趣，然后通过这条线去看野兽的整个故事，看到他不仅仅是因为拒绝玫瑰花而被诅咒，事实上他本身的性格特质也让他被诅咒变得合理。
